Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Housekeeper/Janitor in Miami Beach, FL, to perform cleaning and maintenance across indoor and outdoor areas of the community. Responsibilities include inspecting work, reporting to a supervisor, and ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.

You will handle routine cleaning tasks, manage supplies, and keep restrooms and common areas tidy while upholding a professional, customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning/maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, and window cleaning.
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies.
• Maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA requirements.
• Removes trash and assists in emergency cleaning.
• Uses new equipment safely and follows procedures.
• Maintains friendly and professional attitude.
• Maintains adequate cleaning supplies for assigned areas.
• Inspects areas daily and reports discrepancies.
• Follows security procedures at all times.
• Completes daily work orders as scheduled.
• Cleans restrooms and refills dispensers as applicable.
• Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition.
