Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical service on customer and company equipment in the shop to meet customer needs and company goals.
• Work on heavy construction, farm, or material handling equipment to diagnose and repair problems in a timely, effective manner.
• Diagnose equipment with the Shop Foreman or Service Manager; determine required parts and tools for repairs.
• Present parts orders to the parts department after diagnosis; maintain records and follow up for timely delivery.
• Complete time records accurately for each job to support billing and accounting requirements.
• Provide personal tools and ensure all company-provided tools are in good working condition and safe to use.
• Work safely at all times; comply with OSHA and other regulations; report injuries as required.
• Maintain a clean work area around equipment and the shop.
• Assist other mechanics as requested and work as a team player.
• Perform any other duties as may be required.
