Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National and pass background checks.
• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Heavy Equipment Certification within 6 months of hiring.
• Must obtain and maintain a Class A CDL within 12 months of hiring.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and pass pre-employment tests.
• Uniform required; uniform allowance provided.
• Probationary period of 1 year may be required.

Responsibilities

• Excavate, build, grade, load, level and finish to exact specs using multiple heavy machines.
• Perform welding with acetylene, electric, and MIG methods.
• Install and repair plumbing, electrical, and water/sewage systems.
• Build and repair concrete/masonry structures, foundations, and water crossings.
• Service and repair heavy equipment, diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, blueprints and specs for repairs and projects.
• Maintain facilities, grounds, and utility systems with hand/power tools.
