Job summary

Feather Sound Country Club in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Groundskeeper/Greenskeeper to maintain turf, landscaping, and course features for optimal playability and aesthetics.

You will operate equipment, assist with irrigation and drainage, and follow safety guidelines under the Superintendent. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year groundskeeping experience, valid driver’s license, and team-oriented, detail-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
• 1+ year groundskeeping or related experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in using manual and power tools safely.
• Ability to understand and receive instruction in English.
• Works cooperatively with others in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of plants, turf, irrigation systems, and landscaping practices.
• Safety-conscious mindset with proper use of tools and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Turf maintenance: mow and trim greens, tee boxes, fairways, aprons, and roughs.
• Hazard and course prep including bunkers and hole locations.
• Operate and maintain golf course equipment safely.
• Landscaping and gardening, pruning shrubs and trees.
• Irrigation and drainage: assist in sprinkler systems and water distribution.
• Follow OSHA and club safety protocols.
• Work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
