Job summary

U.S. Ski & Snowboard is seeking a Freeride Skiing Pro Team Head Coach. This contract position runs for the first 5 months and could roll into a full-time role after the 2026-27 season, contingent on performance.

Based in Park City with remote flexibility, travel is required Nov 1 to Mar 31 (100-120 days). You will lead technical coaching and team leadership for the Freeride Pro Team, plan training sessions and camps, manage video review, scheduling, budgeting, and logistics, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• 5+ years coaching at high-level domestic or elite international programs
• Level 300 Coaches Certification preferred
• Knowledge of Freeride skiing coaching techniques
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage projects independently or with other coaches/programs
• Budget management experience
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and video review/editing
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Strong winter driving skills; manual transmission preferred

Responsibilities

• Establish goals with athletes and create development plans
• Develop and lead Freeride Pro Team travel, training, and competition schedule
• Develop and manage selection criteria and communicate them to stakeholders
• Manage travel expenses and prepare monthly cost reports
