Chenega Professional Services Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Firefighter/EMT to provide emergency response, firefighting, rescue, and EMS at Wallops Flight Facility. You will respond to fires, medical incidents, aircraft events, and hazmat, protecting personnel and assets.

You will perform EMS care within EMT scope, participate in firefighting and incident stabilization, and maintain certifications while supporting training and readiness programs.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• DoD/IFSAC, Pro Board, or State Firefighter I.
• DoD/IFSAC, Pro Board, or State Firefighter II.
• Commonwealth of Virginia EMT certification.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• EVOC certification.
• FEMA NIMS IS-100/IS-200/IS-700/IS-800.

Aufgaben

• Respond to fire, rescue, medical, hazardous materials, aircraft-related, and other emergency incidents.
• Perform firefighting, rescue, patient care, and incident stabilization activities.
• Assess emergency situations and implement appropriate response strategies to mitigate hazards.
• Provide emergency medical care within EMT scope and under medical direction.
• Participate in search and rescue operations, victim removal, and patient transport support.
• Support emergency response operations involving launch facilities, aircraft activities, and industrial systems.
• Operate firefighting equipment, vehicles, and rescue tools safely in stressful conditions.
• Complete documentation and maintain readiness through training and certifications.
