Job summary

The Alan Group, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to perform precise interior trim, cabinetry, crown molding, and related finish carpentry on commercial projects.

You will read blueprints, measure accurately, and collaborate with the team to meet deadlines. Responsibilities include installing doors, frames, window trim, and hardware, building custom cabinetry, and safely operating a range of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of finish carpentry experience.
• 2+ years in commercial construction.
• Valid and clean driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality finish carpentry, including installing interior trim, crown molding, casing, window trim and stools, doors, frames and hardware, building and installing cabinetry and stair components.
• Repair and replace finish carpentry elements as needed.
• Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment (drills, saws, nail guns, table saw, planer, joiner).
• Meet physical requirements (standing, walking, lifting, manual dexterity) as needed.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards and The Alan Group procedures and OSHA guidelines.
