Job summary

The Transportation Security Administration seeks highly trained Federal Air Marshals to protect commercial aviation from terrorism and other threats. This full-time role involves armed law enforcement duties with domestic and international travel, irregular hours, and strict security requirements.

Based in Grover, CO, officers must be U.S. citizens, meet stringent eligibility, undergo extensive training, and maintain top-secret clearance, with mobility and long assignments as part of the career

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or national status required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Pass background checks and polygraph as part of hiring.
• Firearm proficiency required for federal duties.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Protect commercial flights from terrorist activity and piracy.
• Work discreetly on domestic and international flights.
• Assess situations and respond with limited backup.
• Carry and maintain firearms proficiency.
• Conduct investigations, interviews, and advisory activities as required.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies.
