Job summary

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) seeks Federal Air Marshals to protect commercial aviation across domestic and international flights. Eligibility includes U.S. citizenship, minimum age, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Training is ongoing, and placement is based on agency needs and locations.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible experience demonstrating problem-solving, planning, organization, and effective communication.
• A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university; or a qualifying combination of education and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Protect commercial passenger flights from terrorist activity, aircraft piracy, and other threats.
• Work discreetly aboard domestic and international flights.
• Carry a firearm and maintain required proficiency for federal duties.
• Conduct investigations, interviews, and multi-agency operations as needed.
