Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a diligent janitorial worker to perform high dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash disposal and floor care across assigned facilities.

You will also maintain public areas, food court cleanliness and outdoor spaces, ensuring a sanitary and orderly environment daily. The role requires adherence to cleaning protocols, safe chemical handling and courteous interaction with staff and guests.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Sufficiently communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
• Operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment.
• Interpret written instructions and warning labels on cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• High dusting of surfaces above shoulder height in assigned rooms.
• Sanitizing and spot cleaning of surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom cleaning and restocking soap/paper dispensers daily.
• Emptying trash and replacing liners; cleaning floors by dust mopping or vacuuming.
• Grounds care: outdoor areas cleaned and checked several times daily.
• Clean public common areas including hallways and glass surfaces.
• Clean food court tables, remove spills, and manage trash.
• Sanitize floors using germicidal solutions and inspect room after cleaning.
