Job summary

White Lodging is seeking an experienced events leader to collaborate with the sales team and head chef to deliver exceptional hotel events. You will plan layouts, oversee setup, coordinate staffing, and ensure flawless service from seating to teardown.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and in-depth hotel operations knowledge including A/V, F&B outlets, culinary, engineering, and sales. Excellent communication and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong leadership and the ability to coach a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills focused on guest satisfaction.
• Solid knowledge of hotel operations, including A/V, food & beverage outlets, and engineering.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication to build trust with guests and staff.
• Proactive mindset with foresight to anticipate event needs.
• End-to-end understanding of event planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team and head chef to deliver events that exceed guest expectations.
• Plan event layouts, oversee venue setup, and ensure all tables and decor are perfectly arranged.
• Coordinate staffing needs and prepare work schedules for banquet servers and event staff.
• Oversee meals and beverages service from seating to clearing for seamless execution.
• Manage liquor and soft drinks availability and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead, coach, and train team members to drive operational excellence.
