Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Data Center Engineer—TS/SCI CI Poly for an on-site role in Reston, Virginia. You will oversee enterprise data networks, work with engineers on project requests, and provide deep LAN/WAN expertise.

The role requires active TS/SCI CI Poly, 5+ years of related experience, and strong Cisco/VMware/Linux/Windows skills. The position offers full-time employment, onsite work in a SCIF, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance is required.
• Over 5 years of systems and network administration/engineering experience.
• Deep understanding of network and security protocols including route/switch protocols with emphasis on EIGRP, BGP, and SD-WAN; MPLS is a must.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage network activity for large enterprise data networks.
• Collaborate with other engineers to support customer project requests.
• Provide high level technical expertise to support LAN and WAN.
• Offer recommendations to improve network and systems performance, security, and efficiency.
