Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Maryland seeks a data-center networking engineer to manage operations and maintenance of a data center network at a customer site in the Columbia/Ft. Meade area.

The role requires TS/SCI w/Full Scope Polygraph clearance, US Citizenship, and strong routing/switching expertise with Juniper devices; on-site work with potential collaboration across JTAC and account teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and supporting data center networks.
• Ability to prioritize and drive tasks in high-pressure environments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• U.S. citizenship and security clearance requirements (TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Poly).
• Engineering design/architecture experience in medium to large data centers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operations and maintenance of a data center network.
• Implement and support EVPN, multicast, OSPF, BGP, RSVP, LDP, and MPLS TE.
• Support Juniper products: QFX, MX, EX, SRX.
• Collaborate with JTAC and customer engineers to resolve hardware/software issues.
