Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab to support invasive cardiac procedures, post-procedure care, and rapid response in a high‑acuity setting. You will coordinate with physicians and team members, ensuring accurate documentation and patient safety from pre‑procedure screening to recovery.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the practicing state
• BLS required; ACLS preferred and must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• 1–2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Emergency, pre-hospital, or critical care background is preferred
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associates or higher)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in the Cath Lab
• Serve as subject matter expert for invasive procedures and patient prep
• Manage patient flow: screening, exam prep, nursing care, testing, admissions
• Provide therapeutic nursing services and accurate documentation of results
• Review and maintain patient records including test and exam postings
