The ideal candidate will monitor health, assist with veterinary visits, and operate cattle handling equipment while maintaining thorough records and collaborating with the ranch team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on cattle experience (seedstock preferred).
• Knowledge of cattle health protocols, vaccinations, and low-stress handling.
• Understanding of cattle nutrition and TMR principles.
• Ability to operate cattle handling equipment (squeeze chute, chutes).
• Identify health issues and respond promptly with proper care.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or on a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor overall health and well-being of bulls.
• Administer vaccinations and parasite control per veterinary protocols.
• Operate cattle handling equipment safely (squeeze chute, alley systems).
• Assist with veterinary visits, exams, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate health and treatment records.
• Prepare feed rations using a TMR mixer wagon and monitor intake.
