Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cattle experience
- Experience with cattle health protocols including vaccinations
- Experience operating a TMR mixer wagon
- Ability to identify health and structural issues in cattle
- Attention to detail and reliability
Responsibilities
- Monitor overall health, condition, and well-being of bulls
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and parasite control
- Operate and safely use cattle handling equipment
- Identify signs of illness, injury, lameness, or stress
- Assist with veterinary visits, diagnostics, and breeding soundness exams
- Maintain accurate health and treatment records
- Prepare feed rations using a TMR mixer wagon
- Monitor feed intake and adjust rations
- Maintain feed inventory and storage quality
- Manage bulls through development stages for sale or breeding
- Evaluate body condition and performance
- Assist in sales preparation and grooming
