Job summary

Ryan Specialty in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Billing Specialist to support high-volume processing of Builders Risk insurance transactions. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, enter transactions in company systems, and ensure quality and timely handling of inquiries.

The role requires a minimum of a high school diploma and at least 2 years of customer service experience, with strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance basics and proficient computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School or GED.
• Minimum: 2 years customer service experience.
• General knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry.
• Proven ability to navigate accepted business software and systems.
• Proven knowledge of customer service skills and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outbound calls based on learned skill sets within required standards.
• Process business transactions for Billing and Agency commission transactions.
• Utilize company systems to enter all transactions while maintaining production and quality standards.
• Ensure all problems, processing and inquiries are handled efficiently within established time frames.
• Work in partnership with stakeholders and US Assure’s corporate vision and mission.
• Participate in knowledge transfer within team through one-on-one, on-the-job training and mentoring to others.
• Educate agents on commission information, portal access and account information
