Job summary

Nike Inc. in Beaverton, OR, is seeking an outstanding Expert Basketball Apparel Designer to shape the Jordan apparel collection.

You will translate the design philosophy into original, style-led concepts and lead a cross-functional team from concept through production. You will collaborate with Color Design, Graphic Design, Product Management and Development to meet price points and timelines, provide prototypes and tech packs, and mentor junior designers while pushing innovation in

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design or related field or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience designing and developing apparel products.
Translate consumer insights into compelling product solutions and narratives.
Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
Ability to produce accurate 2D tech packs.
Experience with cobbling and prototyping; 3D design and AI tools are a plus.
Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and construction.
Experience or passion for basketball.

Responsibilities

Lead design from concept through production for performance apparel.
Collaborate with Color Design, Graphic Design, Product Management and Development.
Provide prototypes and tech packs with fabrication, trim, color, and fit details.
Mentor and guide designers; share knowledge and best practices.
Ensure feasibility, meet price points, timelines, and product creation goals.
