Job summary

Courtyard Gettysburg is seeking a Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage and food service in a fast-paced, high-volume bar and restaurant. You will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, engage with guests, and maintain a welcoming, professional bar environment.

The role requires at least 3 years of bartending experience, strong knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and mixology, and the ability to multitask while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bartending experience; full-service bar experience strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and mixology.

Responsibilities

• Bar Service & Guest Experience: greet guests, prepare and serve beverages, provide table-side or bar service, engage with guests, maintain knowledge of drinks, and ensure quality.
• Inventory & Bar Operations: maintain par levels, assist with inventory and ordering, report variances, follow cash handling procedures, control costs.
• Cleanliness & Compliance: keep bar areas clean, ensure sanitation and safety regulations, maintain professional appearance, handle glassware and equipment safely.
• Team Support & Flexibility: assist guest flow, support other departments, collaborate with servers and kitchen staff for smooth service.
