Job summary

AdventHealth Lenexa City Center in Lenexa, KS seeks an experienced Bariatric & Metabolic Surgeon to join a high-volume program. Fellowship-trained surgeons, board-certified in General Surgery, are preferred to lead complex sleeve gastrectomies, Roux-en-Y bypasses, and revisions.

The role supports a multidisciplinary team including APPs, dietitians, and behavioral health professionals. AdventHealth offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Board certification in General Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Bariatric Surgery and/or Minimally Invasive Surgery.
• 5+ years of post-training surgical experience.
• Significant bariatric experience in a high-volume environment.
• Advanced laparoscopic skills including sleeve gastrectomy and Roux-en-Y.
• Experience with bariatric revisions and conversions preferred.
• Proficiency in upper endoscopy.
• Robotic bariatric surgery experience preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of obesity, metabolic disease and multidisciplinary care.
