AmLaw 100 Firm in Seattle seeks a skilled Associate Attorney for its Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Litigation Practice Group. The role combines litigation and transactional restructuring, representing lenders, creditors, landlords, and debtors in complex insolvency matters.

Ideal candidates have 4-8 years' bankruptcy experience, active WA Bar, and a track record in Chapter 11/15/9 matters, with strong writing and research skills. Excellent growth opportunities in a premier team.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with strong academic record.
• Active Washington Bar in good standing (Oregon/California a plus).
• 4-8 years in bankruptcy, restructuring, or insolvency matters.
• Experience with loan workouts and enforcement actions.
• Expertise in complex bankruptcy restructurings (Chapter 11/15/9).
• Strong drafting, discovery, motions, and court appearances.
• Plus: distressed asset acquisitions and out-of-court restructurings.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders, creditors, landlords, debtors in bankruptcy and restructuring.
• Handle loan workout negotiations and distressed asset matters.
• Manage creditors' rights litigation including enforcement and foreclosures.
• Draft workout agreements and pleadings; prepare discovery and motions.
• Advise on insolvency strategies and risk management.
