Job summary

DriveTime Family of Brands seeks a seasoned Elite Auto Technician to perform bumper‑to‑bumper repairs in a customer‑free shop environment, focusing on parts replacement and advanced repairs. You will document findings, work with center management, and ensure repairs meet quality standards across brakes, engine, cooling, and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands‑on experience, strong attention to detail, and a safe, efficient work style.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years on-the-job experience performing light to medium line work (Brakes, Engine, Steering/Suspension, Cooling, A/C, Electrical).
• Detail-oriented with a mind for accuracy and attendance.
• ASE certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for safety and drivability and document findings.
• Coordinate with Reconditioning Center Management on repairs vs. rejection based on cost/quality.
• Perform advanced automotive repairs including brakes, cooling, steering/suspension, wiring, and AC.
• Identify repairs to minimize re-work and production delays on first attempt.
• Test drive vehicles after repairs to confirm issues are resolved.
• Maintain safe working conditions and prevent hazards in the shop.
