Job summary

Chapman Auto Stores in Pennsylvania invites you to join a world-class family-owned dealer group with strong training programs. The New and Used Vehicle Sales Consultants are responsible for selling new and used vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards.

Responsibilities include assessing customer needs, demonstrating vehicles, delivering vehicles and ensuring customers understand features, warranties and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards.
• Prior auto sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts self in a manner which is consistent with guaranteeing satisfaction to customers.
• Determines each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
• Demonstrates new vehicles (includes test drives).
• Delivers new vehicles to customers and explains features, warranty and paperwork.
• Maintains an owner follow-up system and prospect development.
• Reports to the New or Used Vehicle Sales Manager regarding objectives and activities.
• Keeps abreast of new products and their benefits to customers.
