Job summary

On Location in Texas seeks an Account Manager to provide athletic travel support for the university, delivering high-touch service to coaches, athletes, and staff.

You will arrange domestic and international air, hotel, and car bookings; manage group travel, invoicing, and exchanges; and ensure accuracy under ticketing deadlines.

The role is on site at the University of North Texas, with a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Sabre GDS with preferred five years travel agency experience.
• Air, car, and hotel booking experience.
• Knowledge of airline exchanges, individual and group pricing records.
• Knowledge of general office PC-based programs, including Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong judgement and decision-making skills.
• Ability to produce accurate work under stress of ticketing deadlines.
• Fast thinking and professional customer service skills.
• Exceptional verbal and communication skills.
• Proven competence in managing multiple tasks concurrently.
• Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly.

Responsibilities

• Arrange all aspects of athletic travel, including domestic and international air, hotel, and car bookings.
• Arrange group travel with group air, hotel blocks, and charter bus bookings.
• Calculate and perform exchanges for group and individual travel.
• Manage group hotel and bus invoicing to meet monthly deadlines.
• Understand airline benefits and preferred bus/hotel programs.
• Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers via phone and email.
