Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Elite Armed Security Officer in Midland, TX. This role provides reliable, adjustable hours at a designated site with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will carry out security procedures, respond to incidents, and perform regular armed patrols, while maintaining documentation and safety at all times. The position offers training and growth potential.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license in the job location state.
• 3 years combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 years armed security experience.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation is required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate documentation of incidents, patrols, and other security‑related activities.

As a Elite Armed Security Officer Part Time in Midland, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Wed 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Thur 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least five years of armed security‑related experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
