Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Elite Security Officer for a Part Time Evening shift in Midland, TX. You will safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other sites, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.

Role requires a valid Texas Driver’s License, Level III armed certification, and 21+ age. You will work a defined evening schedule and earn $25.00 per hour with shift-based hours and opportunities to grow within a leading security company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years armed security experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas required.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees while following site procedures and emergency protocols.
• Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the retail location, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activities per site procedures.
• Document incidents and communicate findings to leadership and site contacts.

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving role requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Wed: 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun: 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrols, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
