OPS Security Group is seeking highly professional Close Protection Officers (CPOs) prepared to operate in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments. This role protects people, property, and information while delivering exceptional service.

The CPO’s mission is to safeguard clients and assets, representing the front line of our security services. All candidates must have 4+ years of security experience or a certified academy, and be able to obtain an armed security license.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of combat military / law enforcement / armed security experience or completion of a state/federal certified academy.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain state required armed security officer license.
• Ability to obtain OCAT, PATH, and PPBT certifications.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation and related screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile and static protection and counter-surveillance in a solo capacity.
• Conduct security driver duties in support of the client.
• Perform advance work and report on gathered intelligence.
• Liaise with local authorities during emergencies and incidents.
• Maintain OPSEC and COMSEC throughout the contract and develop emergency plans.
