Job summary

Denver Human Services (DHS) seeks an Eligibility Technician Lead to supervise the Application/EE Cells team, manage PEAK and Paper applications, redeterminations, and CBMS tasks. You will train staff, oversee QA, and drive process improvements to ensure timely eligibility determinations in Denver County.

The role emphasizes leadership, coordination with counties, and daily reporting, with a hybrid work model in Colorado. Strong organization and communication skills required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from high school or GED, HiSET or TASC.
• Experience: Three (3) years determining eligibility for public assistance programs.
• Education/Experience equivalency may substitute for minimum experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Application/EE Cells team and supervise document management tasks.
• Initiate CBMS applications, track production and maintain QA logs.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to staff.
• Prepare daily reports and support process improvements.
• Coordinate ICT and PEAK transfers and communicate with counties.
