Job summary

State of Alaska in Anchorage seeks an Eligibility Technician 4 to lead a team performing Title IV-E and Medicaid eligibility determinations for children in state custody. You will ensure quality assurance, supervise staff development, and coordinate with multiple units to maintain accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, knowledge of eligibility regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment in Anchorage.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as Eligibility Technician 2 with the State of Alaska or equivalent.
• One year of lead or supervisory experience in any job.
• Post-secondary education may substitute for the required experience (2.67 semester/4 quarter hours = 1 month).

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and organize a team that provides Title IV-E and Medicaid eligibility determinations.
• Ensure quality assurance, staff development, and timeliness of determinations.
• Collaborate with divisions to maintain a strong workforce.
• Supervise a unit of staff and coordinate daily operations.
