Job summary

Savista, LLC is seeking an Eligibility Specialist I to serve onsite at Centinela Hospital Medical Center in Inglewood, CA. The role provides direct patient interaction to determine eligibility for financial assistance programs and to guide patients through Medicaid, Medicare, disability, and charity care applications.

This full-time position runs Tue-Sat, 8:00am–4:30pm with competitive pay. You will liaise with hospital staff and government agencies, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security Disability.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients in-person to assess eligibility for financial assistance programs.
• Guide patients through Medicaid, Medicare, Disability, and hospital charity care applications with timely submission of documentation.
• Collaborate across teams to secure coverage and resolve eligibility issues with hospital staff and government agencies.
• Manage a high case load, prioritize tasks, follow up on applications, and meet deadlines while maintaining productivity and quality.
