Job summary

Savista seeks an Eligibility Specialist I in Turnersville, NJ to help patients access financial assistance programs, including Medicaid, Medicare, disability, and hospital charity care. You will meet with patients in person and by phone, guiding them through applications with empathy and clarity.

Ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, English and Spanish proficiency, and at least 1 year in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients in person to assess eligibility for financial assistance programs.
• Engage patients by phone to support required screenings and documentation.
• Guide patients through complex applications for Medicaid, Medicare, disability and hospital charity care.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and government agencies to secure coverage and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant records and meet productivity/quality KPIs.
