Job summary

The State of Arizona’s Department of Economic Security is seeking a Redetermination Specialist (DDD) in Phoenix to support individuals with developmental disabilities. You will conduct eligibility interviews, review applications, and coordinate with families to determine service eligibility and plan supports.

Qualifications

• Requires two years of professional experience coordinating social service activities or one year as Human Service Specialist I in Arizona State Service
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university is required
• Ability to conduct eligibility interviews, review referrals, and maintain case notes with strict timelines

Responsibilities

• Conduct eligibility interviews and track redetermination across sources
• Receive and screen applications and refer to community resources as appropriate
• Write comprehensive progress notes and set up new member files
• Review documentation, determine eligibility, and communicate results
• Correspondence with families on initial applications and notices; attend training and meetings
