Job summary

Tidal Basin Holdco, LLC is seeking an Eligibility Specialist to support Indiana's Disaster Relief Fund program. You will review applications, determine eligibility, and contact survivors to gather documents, providing focused case management and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating services, meeting program goals, adhering to federal/state requirements, and training requirements. FEMA IA or grant program experience is preferred.

• Maintain a complete understanding of all applicable Program policies and requirements.
• Complete required training.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines.

Position Summary:

Tidal Basin seeks a competent Eligibility Specialist to join the team supporting the State of Indiana, Disaster Relief Fund program. The position will assist with reviewing applications for those impacted by the August 2026 weather event. This position represents an exceptional opportunity to join an expert team to facilitate change and help make a lasting difference.

The Eligibility Specialist is responsible for reviewing the affected applicant’s application and come to an eligibility determination. The responsibility may also include evaluating previously denied applications for potential appeals. The Eligibility Specialist may potentially serve as a point of contact between the program and the applicant and is expected to provide exceptional customer service while assisting the client in coordinating necessary services and resources to address their recovery needs. Eligibility Specialists will be responsible for meeting goals and objectives as assigned, complying with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements, and adhering to all contractual or prescribed stakeholder expectations or requirements.
