Job summary

Arizona Department of Economic Security is seeking an Eligibility Interviewer to determine eligibility for Nutrition, Medical, and Cash Assistance. This in-office role requires strong customer service, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

You will participate in paid training and ongoing development while assisting clients face-to-face or by phone, collecting information and entering it into our systems to support timely determinations.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience and strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficient data entry and computer navigation across multiple screens.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in-person and by phone in a fast-paced office.
• Participate in paid classroom training and on-the-job learning.
• Collect information to conduct eligibility determinations for Nutrition, Medical, and Cash Assistance.
• Enter data accurately while talking with clients and navigating multiple screens.
• Adhere to agency standards for attendance, service levels, and accuracy.
