The Arizona Department of Economic Security is seeking an Eligibility Interviewer to help Arizonans access Nutrition, Medical, and Cash Assistance. This full-time, in-office position offers paid training and comprehensive benefits, with an emphasis on accurate interviewing and compassionate service.

You will conduct interviews, collect information, and determine eligibility while working in a fast-paced environment and supporting clients face-to-face or by phone.

Qualifications

• One year of eligibility reviews or customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in-person and by phone in a fast-paced office.
• Attend paid classroom training with on-the-job training.
• Provide excellent customer service to individuals and families.
• Collect information to determine eligibility for Medical, Nutrition, and Cash Assistance.
• Complete application and interview processes while data entering on multiple screens.
• Adhere to agency standards measured by metrics, attendance, and timeliness.
