Job summary

Building Services 32BJ Benefit Funds in New York, NY, seeks a Supervisor, Eligibility & COBRA to oversee eligibility determinations and COBRA continuation for SEIU 32BJ members. This full-time role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and guides the Eligibility staff to deliver accurate, timely benefits administration.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, lead projects, develop reports, and partner with the Manager, Eligibility to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in COBRA administration or DOE operations.
• Strong knowledge of COBRA and Eligibility processes.
• Supervisory or project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish service quality goals for DOE and COBRA activities.
• Ensure compliance with COBRA regulations, timelines, tracking, reporting, and payments.
• Supervise staff, coach, and appraise performance; monitor workflows.
• Develop and maintain summary reports to track quality and quantity of work.
• Provide guidance in DOE system enhancements and incident management.
