Job summary

TK Elevator is currently seeking Elevator Technicians for the Houston area. As part of the team, you will monitor mechanical and electrical components, perform preventative maintenance, and strengthen business relationships. The role demands strong mechanical skills with a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

This position is safety-sensitive and involves heavy lifting. Relocation assistance may be offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Performs preventative maintenance tasks including visually inspecting, manually cleaning and lubricating elevator systems and components in a controlled or non‑controlled climate field setting.
• Establishes and strengthens business relationships with owners, property managers, building engineers and union business agents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2+ years related work experience as a mechanic or technician in a commercial setting.
• Strong mechanical reasoning and comprehension skills plus hands‑on mechanical aptitude.
• Self‑starter and able to work independently with little supervision.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.
• Relocation assistance may be considered.
