Job summary

Kings III Emergency Communications is seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to install, maintain, and repair emergency phone equipment in elevators and at pool sides. The role requires travel across the service area and a valid Elevator Mechanic License.

Responsibilities

Elevator Technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing emergency phone equipment in elevators and at pool sides. They ensure customers’ safety and security needs are met through timely installation, routine maintenance, and repair of phones. Technicians receive the necessary tools, materials, and support to run their routes and perform installation and service duties. Some travel is involved, and the ability to travel and hold certifications in multiple states is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of experience installing and/or repairing elevator telephone and emergency telephone equipment
• Must hold a current and valid Elevator Mechanic License
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to schedule work and coordinate with customers
• Ability to manage installation projects and complete them in a timely manner
• High attention to detail and quality

• Ability to travel throughout the area
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, driving record check, and drug screen
