Job summary

Vantage Elevation, LLC is seeking a technically minded Technical Support Specialist to join the Hollister-Whitney team in Quincy, IL. The role focuses on hands-on support for mechanical and electro-mechanical elevator components, diagnosing issues, assisting with installations and repairs, and delivering timely solutions.

The position emphasizes strong customer-facing skills, problem-solving, and collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales and field technicians.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in a related technology field preferred.
• 3-5 years in technical support or industrial equipment roles.
• Experience supporting mechanical/electro-mechanical products preferred.
• Customer-facing technical support experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/CRM systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, distributors, field technicians and internal teams.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using drawings and product specs.
• Diagnose root causes and recommend corrective actions or repairs.
• Assist with installations, startup, operation and maintenance.
• Document inquiries and resolutions in the support system.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Sales to resolve issues.
