Job summary

Intellectt Inc. in Bloomfield, CT seeks an experienced Mechanical Drafter to join our engineering team. The role focuses on developing 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for elevator systems using Creo, with Windchill PLM for data management and configuration control.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on drafting experience, GD&T proficiency, and BOM creation skills. You will work on sheet metal components and wire harness documentation, supporting design changes and engineering documentation

Qualifications

• Hands-on Creo CAD for 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Experience with Windchill PLM.
• Strong GD&T and drafting skills.
• Sheet metal design and BOM experience.
• Experience with wire harness documentation.
• Understanding of engineering change management.
• Able to produce complex CAD assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Create preliminary and final elevator drawings.
• Develop and maintain 3D CAD models and assemblies.
• Configure and maintain BOMs.
• Modify designs for non-standard customer requirements.
• Ensure documentation accuracy.
• Use Windchill for data management and change control.
• Provide Creo/Windchill support.
• Ensure designs meet GD&T and standards.
