Job summary

Vaspire Technologies Inc. is seeking a CAD engineer to create elevator drawings and manage BOMs. The role requires hands-on work with sheetmetal and wire harnesses, and leadership in CAD model development using Creo and Windchill.

The candidate should have a degree in engineering or equivalent training and a strong grasp of GD&T and configuration control. This position is based in the Florence, SC area with on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create preliminary and final elevator drawings.
• Good hands-on experience with sheetmetal, wire harness etc.
• Configure bills of materials for elevator units.
• Modify drawings and BOMs for preapproved, non-standard requests.
• Lead development, modification, and maintenance of complex CAD models and drawings.
• Serve as the technical expert for Creo and Windchill.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T and configuration control.
