Job summary

KONE is seeking a Service Training Specialist – Technician Experience to develop the next generation of elevator technicians. You will plan and conduct technical training covering service methods, maintenance, repair, and operational processes.

In collaboration with Service Operations, you will identify competency gaps, tailor learning programs, and ensure technicians and supervisors have hands-on skills aligned with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in the elevator industry or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, training, or developing elevator personnel.
• Strong knowledge of service operations and field workflows.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct technical training programs for technicians on new and existing service methods.
• Collaborate with Service Operations to identify competency development needs.
• Develop and localize training programs to regional business needs.
• Use leadership experience to ensure training content reflects real-world challenges and best practices.
• Support assessments, certifications, and development planning.
• Coach technicians and frontline leaders to drive operational excellence.
• Maintain training records and measure training effectiveness.
• Partner with safety, quality, and operations stakeholders to uphold standards.
