Job summary

Start Elevator, a fast-growing leader in the elevator industry, seeks an experienced Elevator Service Technician for operations in New York and New Jersey. This role will involve advanced maintenance and troubleshooting of elevators to ensure compliance with state codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of experience in elevator service, repair, or maintenance.
• Strong working knowledge of traction and hydraulic elevator systems is required.
• CET certification preferred, if not required by jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on elevators.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Respond to service calls, including emergency repairs.
