Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Superintendent- Service/Repair in Austin, TX to oversee service and repair operations, ensuring efficiency and cost effectiveness. You will audit sites, support mechanics, analyze route profitability, and contribute to safety and training initiatives.

The role requires a strong understanding of construction industry practices, the ability to write reports and bids, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years of management experience.
• Ability to write reports, proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and customers.
• Ability to interpret extensive technical instructions and complex variables.

Responsibilities

• Visits job sites and performs quality audits to ensure route work is efficient and cost-effective.
• Performs NIM audits within 15 days of construction and modernization turnovers; identifies issues and suggests improvements.
• Assists mechanics with jobs, including troubleshooting and on-the-job training.
• Uses accounting reports to review route profitability and provide feedback/data to management.
• Participates in safety training and provides input on scope of work and materials for bids.
