Zusammenfassung

Lift Works Elevator is seeking skilled elevator technicians in New Mexico to perform modernizations and repairs on hydraulic and traction systems. You will install controllers, door equipment, pumping units, hoist machines, wiring and fixtures, focusing on safety, compliance, and lasting performance.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and a Certified Elevator Technician degree or license, be able to lift heavy tools, work from ladders or scaffolds, and respond to on-call emergencies.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License
• Knowledge and skill in the use of hand and electrical tools such as grinders, drill motors and coring machines
• Knowledge and skill in the use of electrical reading and testing equipment, hoisting and rigging equipment
• Physical requirements to climb, lift heavy tools, work from ladders/scaffolding, and be on-call for emergencies
• Work environment may be dusty in elevator shafts, pits, and hot/oily spaces

Aufgaben

• Perform complete modernizations and repairs for hydraulic and traction elevators, including installing controllers, door equipment, pumping units, hoist machines, wiring and fixtures
• Conduct repairs, modernizations and inspections to ensure safe operation and OSHA compliance
• Perform annual tests to ensure proper operation of safety devices during final inspections
• Assist in determining suitability of present equipment, proposed modifications and new equipment
• Perform other related duties as needed
