Job summary

TK Elevator in Florida seeks an experienced Project Manager- Modernization to coordinate purchasing, scheduling, and delivery of materials for modernization jobs, ensuring timely, productive, and cost-efficient execution. Travel is mandatory for this role across the state of Florida.

The candidate will set up new modernization jobs, manage submittals, permits, and turnovers, and maintain detailed job records while coordinating with customers, builders, and field teams to drive successful project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in elevator/construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of elevator systems and construction processes.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and manage diverse data.

Responsibilities

• Sets up new modernization jobs and change orders.
• Prepares submittal books for owner and consultant.
• Maintains job files and databases.
• Issues purchase orders and files into job books.
• Coordinates schedules and scope with customers and teams.
• Manages city permits, plan checks, OSHPD approvals as needed.
• Communicates progress with customers and project teams.
• Manages turnovers and accepts completed projects.
