Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Project Manager- Modernization in Florida. The role coordinates buying, scheduling, and delivery of materials for modernization jobs to ensure timely, productive, and cost-efficient completion.

Travel within Florida is mandatory. The candidate will set up new modernization jobs, manage submittals, maintain job files, issue purchase orders, and coordinate with customers, managers, and field staff to maintain schedule and scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in elevator/construction industry.
• Thorough knowledge of elevator equipment and the construction industry; knowledge of installation procedures.
• Ability to define problems collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Responsibilities

• Sets up new modernization jobs and change orders, and submits for processing.
• Maintains job file to include data pertaining to the job; maintains computer database, recording all activity that applies to the job.
• Issues purchase orders and files into job books.
• Follows up with customers on job schedules, and scope of work issues pertinent to modernization projects to ensure consistent workflow on projects.
• Coordinates issuance of letters of intent, city permits and plan checks, and DSA and OSHPD approvals; Reviews and prioritizes OSHPD jobs.

Education
