Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Project Manager- Modernization in Florida. The role coordinates purchasing, scheduling, and delivery of materials for modernization projects to ensure timely, productive, and cost-efficient completion.

Candidates may operate anywhere in Florida with mandatory travel to job sites; responsibilities include setup, submittals, file management, purchase orders, and coordination with owners, consultants, and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in elevator/construction industry or equivalent experience.
• Thorough knowledge of elevator equipment and construction industry; knowledge of installation procedures.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret extensive technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form; manage multiple variables.

Responsibilities

• Set up new modernization jobs and change orders; submit for processing.
• Prepare job submittal books for owners and consultants.
• Maintain job files and database; record activity and status; close files after acceptance.
• Issue purchase orders and file into job books.
• Coordinate with customers on job schedules and scope of work issues to ensure workflow.
• Coordinate permits, plan checks, OSHPD/DSA approvals; set inspections with authorities.
