Job summary

TK Elevator in Florida is seeking an experienced Project Manager- Modernization to coordinate purchasing, scheduling and delivery of materials for modernization jobs, ensuring timely, productive and cost-efficient outcomes. The role requires strong coordination across vendors, building owners and internal teams.

Travel is mandatory for this position, and candidates may be based anywhere within the state of Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in elevator/construction industry.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret complex technical instructions and variables.

Responsibilities

• Sets up new modernization jobs and change orders, and submits for processing.
• Sets up job submittal books for submittal to building owner and consultant.
• Maintains job file with status, correspondence and future actions.
• Issues purchase orders and files into job books.
• Coordinates letters of intent, permits and approvals; coordinates inspections.
• Monitors progress and coordinates with customers, salespersons and managers.
• Prepares acceptances and processes turnovers.
