Job summary

Right Way Elevator Maintenance Inc. in the Tampa, Florida metro area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to service safety-critical elevator systems.

You will perform repairs on rack and pinion and hydraulic units, read blueprints and manuals, and ensure all equipment operates reliably. The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a mechanic, can troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, and follows established safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanic.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals and related documents.
• Experience as a route mechanic.
• Ability to follow established safety, maintenance and testing procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions.
• CET is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide repair services on rack and pinion and some hydraulic elevators to keep systems in proper working order.
• Read blueprints, technical manuals and related documents to diagnose issues.
• Follow established safety procedures during maintenance and testing.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions to restore operation.
